Revamped, restored and totally remarkable, the new Wookey Hole experience is bursting onto the 2006 holiday scene in an explosive mix of HISTORY, MYSTERY & FUN. With new attractions, great new facilities and the classic glory of Britain’s most spectacular underground caverns, the centuries-old site near Wells in Somerset has been given a brand new lease of life. Last year we opened a ‘Valley of the Dinosaurs’, come and stroll amongst our full sized dinosaurs, or relax in our ‘Enchanted Fairy Garden’ with fairies, dragons and elves. Indoors we’ve added a revolutionary pirate ship ‘ZAP ZONE’ adventure which we’ve named ‘Pirates of the River Axe’. Come and watch our ‘Magic & Puppet Shows’ in the Wizards Theatre. We’ve transformed the place. Of course we’ve kept the best – the caves themselves, the wonderful old paper mill, the Kidz Play Area’s and the Magical Mirror Maze, but there’s so much more we’ve done to make Wookey Hole a great family destination for a wonderful day out what ever the weather.
