Terms & Conditions

The Virgin voucher scheme is run by Acorne Ltd, trading as The Virgin Voucher. When you (the Purchaser) make an order and The Virgin Voucher accept it, a legally binding contract is made, the Terms and Conditions of which are set out below. They do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

All orders must be made on the order form which must be sent to The Virgin Voucher together with payment. We accept BACS payment, cheques and major credit cards. Credit facilities are available on application only. You will be notified within 10 working days whether your account has been set up. Payment must be made within 14 days of invoice date.

The Virgin Voucher shall send all Vouchers ordered pursuant to these Conditions to the Purchaser by secure post. It shall endeavour to deliver the Vouchers to the Purchaser within three working days after the acceptance of the Purchaser's order.

Delivery of Vouchers shall take place in the ordinary course of secure post. Time of delivery shall not be the essence and The Virgin Voucher shall not be liable for any delay in delivery or non-delivery or losses arising from the delay.

The Purchaser acknowledges and agrees to be bound by the Terms and Conditions printed on The Virgin Voucher only, which are set out below:

2.Please keep this voucher in a safe place. It is not replaceable if lost, stolen or damaged.

3.To be valid when presented for exchange, this voucher must be complete and its perforations must not have been broken.

4.You can exchange this voucher for a wide variety of goods and services as indicated in The Virgin Voucher literature and website.

5.Travel/holiday reservations can be made through The Virgin Voucher Travel Club (0870 514 3252), Virgin Atlantic (0845 345 7705) and Virgin Holidays (0845 345 7706). This voucher cannot be redeemed at any other travel agent. THIS VOUCHER IS COVERED BY THE ABTA FINANCIAL PROTECTION SCHEME ONCE IT HAS BEEN REDEEMED AGAINST A SPECIFIC BOOKING.

6.If goods or services cost more than the face value of the voucher, you can make the difference up yourself. No change will be given.

7.The Virgin Voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any special promotions, discount tokens or cards.

9.Virgin Enterprises Limited owns all intellectual property rights, trademarks and copyrights in the VIRGIN name and the VIRGIN name may not be reproduced in any form without the prior written permission of Virgin Enterprises Limited.

10.The Virgin Voucher is a trading name of Acorne Limited

Should Vouchers be received in large denominations as ordered and subsequently changed into smaller denominations a £15 administration charge will be payable.

The Purchaser shall not reproduce in any form the Vouchers and/or the VIRGIN trade mark ("the Mark") or anything deceptively similar thereto, or authorise, assist or enable others to do so without the prior written consent of The Virgin Voucher.

The Vouchers and/or Mark may not be used in combination with any other marks, names, words or logos without the prior written consent of The Virgin Voucher (in its absolute discretion).

The Purchaser shall submit designs for any printed materials using the Vouchers and/or the Mark to The Virgin Voucher for approval and the Purchaser shall not make use of any such design or advertising, marketing or promotional materials incorporating such designs unless The Virgin Voucher has given its prior written approval.

The Purchaser agrees not to supply the Vouchers to any person on or in connection with either the purchase of any goods or the payment or hiring of goods under a hire purchase agreement.

The Virgin Voucher does not make or give any promises, warranties, guarantees or representations concerning the goods and services supplied by the suppliers nominated by The Virgin Voucher.

The Contract shall in every respect be governed by English Law and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

The Purchaser shall, upon delivery, examine the Vouchers and shall promptly (but in any event within seven days following delivery) give written notice to The Virgin Voucher of any apparent damage, defect or shortage.

Title to the Vouchers and risk of damage to or loss of the Vouchers shall pass to the Purchaser upon delivery. Upon passing of risk The Virgin Voucher shall not be liable for the safety of the Vouchers thereafter.

If the Purchaser is at any time in breach of these Conditions, The Virgin Voucher may cancel all contracts with the Purchaser and refuse to supply any further Vouchers or suspend delivery until breaches have been remedied.

If The Virgin Voucher shall be prevented from performing any of its obligations under the contract by any circumstances outside its control then it will be released from all its obligations to the Purchaser and will in no way be liable for any failure to perform those obligations. If The Virgin Voucher has received payment from the Purchaser and is prevented from supplying Vouchers to the Purchaser for any reason outlined in this clause then The Virgin Voucher shall refund such payment to the Purchaser in full within receiving a written request in writing from the Purchaser to do so.
